Every 60 seconds, someone in the world dies from breast cancer. This year alone, more than 41,000 people in the U.S. will lose their lives. That is unacceptable!
Susan G. Komen is committed to achieving a world without breast cancer. That’s why we have set a Bold Goal to reduce the current number of breast cancer deaths by 50% in the U.S. by 2026. We are going to achieve that goal by focusing on action to support the breast cancer community, by funding breakthrough research for incurable breast cancer and ensuring access to quality care for all.
We’re doing everything we can to save lives from breast cancer – from providing personal support, to making discoveries in the lab, to making our voices heard in the halls of Congress.
